Meet Your Instructor: Maribel
Maribel’s love for flowers began in childhood—drawn to their color, movement, and the quiet way they transform a space. Early on, she understood that flowers speak without words, creating emotion and connection.
For Maribel, floral design has never been about trends or replication. It’s about intention—responding to the space, the moment, and the people it’s meant for. Her work is rooted in thoughtful mechanics, balance, and respect for the design process.
With over 18 years of experience, Maribel is the founder and master floral designer behind Flowers by G Bella. Designing weddings and events has shown her how deeply florals shape meaningful moments. Seeing a couple step into a space and feel something—knowing it becomes part of their story—is what continues to inspire her work.

“I learned so much today from a great teacher Maribel of @flowersbygbella. Learned that most flowers need to be in warm water! I always put my flowers in ice cold water freezing the flowers and not allowing them to open up. Who knew… Anyway, today was a good day!”
— Sadé Maples, In-Person Workshop

“The class was very nice. I really loved making this bouquet. Thank you so much for [Maribel’s] teaching, I'm very grateful!”
